MIRAMAR (CBS4) – Miramar police are investigating a double shooting inside a restaurant that left two people hospitalized one of them in critical condition.

According to Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues, there was an event taking place inside Elle's/L&L Market Bistro located at 12312 Miramar Parkway late Sunday night when the shooting took place.

According to Rues, there was an argument between two men inside the restaurant. When a third man tried to break up the argument, he was shot. The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition.

"Completely shocking, it's not normal here," said Youmi Feliz who was at Elle's on Sunday night.

Feliz says it was Jamaica night at the hot spot and there were no signs of trouble early in the evening.

"It was a good atmosphere.  I wasn't aware anything happened," said Feliz. " I guess I left before it got busy."

An innocent by-stander was also shot and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
