Tustin Police Release Photo Of Suspect In Robbery Of Jewelry Dealer
TUSTIN (CBS) — Police have released surveillance photos of one of the suspects involved in the robbery of an Orange County jeweler in June.
Police believe the suspect and two others targeted the jeweler on June 9, following him home from a jewelry show in Seal Beach, and attacked him outside of his gated community in Tustin at Robertson Drive and Clifford Court.
Police said the suspects blocked in the victim's car with a truck and motorcycle while two men, one armed with a crowbar, threatened and robbed the jeweler.
The suspects fled the scene in their vehicles.
The stolen gems had an estimated value of $260,000.
The Tustin Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying the subject in the photographs. Anyone with information regarding this incident may contact Detective Colton Kirwan at (714)573-3249.
