Fire Tears Through Abandoned Restaurant In Thousand Oaks
THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA) — Ventura County Fire Department crews were on the scene of a single-story commercial building fire in Thousand Oaks Friday.
The building, reported to be a vacant restaurant located on Brazil Street and Pennsfield Place, was engulfed by flames before the crews on hand were able to extinguish the flames.
With Sky 9 chopper overhead at around 6:20 p.m., the majority of the blaze appeared to be under control as units continued to contain the situation.
