Teenage Girl Critically Injured Following Hit-And-Run Crash In Newport Beach
NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A 14-year-old girl remained in critical condition on Wednesday after she was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Newport Beach.
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the teenager was struck on Bay Avenue near Island Avenue on the Balboa Peninsula shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the crash.
A description of the vehicle and suspect has not yet been provided.
