LOS ANGELES (CBS) — An 18-year-old woman has died after she was found shot in a South Los Angeles alley.

The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at 111th Street and Avalon Boulevard, Los Angeles police Sgt. Philip Thompson said.

Darsy Noriega of Los Angeles was shot several times, according to the police and county coroner. Noriega died at a hospital shortly before midnight.
