Starbucks To Increase Prices On Certain Beverages Starting Tuesday
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Your morning latte at Starbucks will set you back a few more cents starting Tuesday.
That's because the nation's largest coffee chain is raising prices from 5 to 20 cents on many drinks.
For instance, brewed coffee is going up a dime in most areas.
Prices for a few drinks, though, are expected to remain the same.
Starbucks management says the higher cost of coffee is partly the reason, along with higher operating expenses.
About a year ago, the Seattle-based company also raised prices nationally, according to the Associated Press.
