Suspect In Stolen Caltrans Truck Flees From Police, Crashes Into John Wayne Airport Parking Structure
SANTA ANA (CBSLA) - A suspect was in police custody Thursday after leading authorities on a chase in a stolen Caltrans truck.
Irvine police say the driver - who had a dog with - stole the truck and drove it to the arrivals area of John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana.
The suspect crashed into a parking structure and then backed into a police vehicle, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
The dog was transported to animal control.
