Police Department Dispatcher Accused Of Indecent Exposure
SAN FERNANDO (CBS) — Authorities say a San Fernando Police Department dispatcher was arrested last week on an indecent exposure charge.
Hijinio Martinez was arrested Feb. 15, after a shopkeeper told the Los Angeles Police Department that he exposed himself to her at a strip mall in Granada Hills, The San Fernando Sun reported.
The shopkeeper called police and gave them the license plate number of Martinez's car.
Martinez is due in court next month. He was freed after posting bail, according to The Sun.
Martinez was placed on paid administrative leave following the arrest, San Fernando Police Department acting Chief Robert Jacobs told The Sun.
Martinez's arrest was the second allegation of wrongdoing related to the department in the past month. Chief Anthony Ruelas was on administrative leave connected to allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a cadet who claims she was later forced out of the department.
