Police Aren't Feeling Tampering Of Traffic Sign By Roadside Prankster

BUFFALO (CBSLA.com) — People are loving the messages a roadside prankster is sending in Buffalo, N.Y., but police aren't feeling it.

That's because someone keeps changing the electric traffic sign, putting up messages like "I love you," and "It's all a dream."

It's been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Nobody knows who is behind the prank but drivers and joggers who pass the sign say it's nice to see the positive thoughts for a change.

"I mean it kind of made me happy," said one woman. "I was like, 'Gosh, what an uplifting thing in like all this negativity going on.' "

Police say it may look like all fun and games, but changing the sign is a crime that could land the prankster behind bars for up to a year.
