LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The body of a man in his 20s was found shot to death in a stolen car near Culver City, police said.

Officers sent to the 5500 block of Margaret Avenue in Del Rey just before 7 a.m. found the slain man, Los Angeles police Officer Bruce Borihanh said. The man had been shot in the head.

The victim's name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.

The circumstances of the death are under investigation. The Lexus in which the man was found had been stolen a couple of weeks ago in the West Los Angeles area. No arrests were immediately reported.
