The massive fire was located inside one of many unoccupied structures that sit in a row on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

79 firefighters were on hand to fight the raging flames that tore through the roof of the one-story building, prompting Los Angeles Fire Department crews to go into defensive operation mode.

At 10:50 p.m. the fire attained a Greater Alarm status. It was knocked down after 43 minutes, around 11:40 p.m.

They were able to contain the fire solely within the one building and no injuries were reported.
