Irvine police searching for thief who distracts her victims with a kiss

Irvine police are asking for help from the public as they continue to search for an alleged thief who distracts her victims with a kiss while stealing their jewelry. 

"We need your help finding Sirbu Lacramioara, whose hobbies include stealing jewelry while distracting her victims—one kiss at a time," said an Instagram post from the Irvine Police Department. 

They say that back in 2022, Lacramioara distracted a victim by kissing their hand and taking their Rolex watch. 

Lacramioara, 45, left some DNA behind with the kiss, police say, which they were able to use to use to identify her as the thief. 

"She is going for the gold and silver in the distraction theft Olympics because she is wanted nationwide for similar crimes," the Instagram post said. 

Investigators believe that she left the country for Poland.
