Man hospitalized after police shooting in Anaheim
Anaheim police shot and killed a man on Friday evening after they were called to the scene of a possible robbery.
It happened at around 8 p.m. at a home near S. Maywood Street and South Street, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
The suspect died after being rushed to a nearby hospital after being shot by officers.
Information was scarce late Friday, but police disclosed that they were dispatched to a home in the area for reports of a robbery. Upon arrival, they encountered the suspect who refused to comply with demands and allegedly pointed a fake firearm at them.
They have not yet identified the suspect.
