Family Injured In Ontario House Fire

 ONTARIO (CBS) — A family of 12 suffered injuries Tuesday after a fire broke out in their Ontario home overnight.

Officials say the fire started around 11:15 p.m. Monday on the second floor of a home in the 1400 block of East Fairfield Street, near Archibald Avenue and the 60 Freeway.

According to fire officials, 12 family members, including several children, where inside the home at the time.

A 10-year-old boy suffered burns to at least 30% of his body and was airlifted to a local hospital. A man also suffered burns to his feet. Paramedics and firefighters treated the remaining family members for smoke inhalation.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire is unknown. A damage estimate was not available.
