Disney Breaks Ground On Star Wars-Themed Land In Anaheim
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Disney has officially broken ground on its new Star Wars-themed lands at Disneyland in Anaheim and Walt Disney World in Florida.
The company Thursday released a 360-degree photo of the construction now underway at both resorts.
Disney says the lands at the parks will cover 14-acres and is the park's largest-ever single-themed land expansions.
The lands are expected to transport visitors to a never-before-seen planet inhabited by humanoids and droids.
A completion date has not yet been announced but insiders are projecting that the lands will be ready in 2018.
