Video Shows Suspected Drunken Driving Crash That Injured Mother, Daughter

ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) — New dashcam video has been released that shows the aftermath of a suspected drunken driving crash in Alhambra that left a mother and daughter injured.

The Friday night crash unfolded about 8:48 p.m. on Main between Fourth and First streets.

The footage a car running a red light before police say the car hit a woman, her 3-year-old daughter, and another car.

The child remains in the hospital. The other people injured in the accident were treated for minor injuries, and were released.

Police said the suspected driver they identified as 21-year-old Abundio Flores-Ramon of El Monte was booked on suspicion of felony DUI and felony hit-and-run.

He was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Flores-Ramon's first court appearance has been scheduled for Aug. 10.
