Carson City Officials To Announce Ordinance That Would Punish Bullies As Criminals
CARSON CITY (CBSLA.com) — Officials in Carson City will announce Tuesday plans to introduce an ordinance that would impose criminal penalties against those who bully children in school.
Members of the South Bay-based suicide prevention organization Kevin's Cause were joined by Carson Mayor Jim Dear and at the city council meeting at 11 a.m. at the Victoria Community Regional Park Community Room, 419 E. 192nd St.
The ordinance is a part of a program called "Together We Stand, Let's Take a Hand and Stop Bullying".
