1 Injured In Shooting Involving Deputy In Compton
COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — A male was wounded and taken to a hospital Thursday in a shooting involving a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy, authorities said.
No deputies were injured in the confrontation that ended with a shooting about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, officials at the Sheriff's Department headquarters confirmed.
The suspect was taken to a hospital in unknown condition after the shooting reported to have taken place in a wash area near Wilmington Avenue and School Street in Compton.
