One of Folsom's most gifted bakers has an impressive background in gingerbread. Chef Julian Jimenez, an award-winning pastry chef, was born and raised in Folsom. During his impressive international career, he found himself as Executive Pastry Chef at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, where he was tasked with the sweet assignment of putting together the famous gingerbread house in the lobby.
