Person Struck, Killed By Car In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A person is dead after being struck by a car in south Sacramento early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened on the corner of 55th Street and Florin Road.

It's not clear, at this point, what led up to the incident.

All lanes in the area have since reopened.

The name of the person killed has not been released.
