Travelzoo Deal: Sail Into The America's Cup Package
Watch The Video

There is a time to work and a time to play; but after a long month of planning, it was time for one Good Day producer to play!

We all know there is no better playground than the City by the Bay! San Francisco had been calling since I last visited. So when deciding on a place to stay, I've come to the realization that it's best not to change a good thing; and the Westin St. Francis is that good thing!

Once again I chose to stay in the old building to be surrounded by that classic charm but still be able to take advantage of those modern amenities. Even though I had a different room, it still had the same captivating views overlooking Union Square. The picturesque scene is hard to beat!

As always, the room was delightful and the staff was dependable and attentive. This time around, I decided to try something new and enjoy a bit of room service (something this gal has never experienced). What a treat! I kept the order simple but when it arrived, I was greeted with a cornucopia of fresh fruit and pastries. The portions were more than plentiful and it was the absolute perfect cap to a relaxing, rewarding and revitalizing weekend. The Westin St. Francis never disappoints and I am always discovering new treats with every trip.

The city was absolutely buzzing the weekend I was there with the America's Cup still in full swing. Races run through Sept. 21 and the Westin St. Francis has some killer deals to entice sailing enthusiasts.

The "Sail into the America's Cup Package" includes an overnight stay, breakfast for two people and two glasses of wine in the Napa Valley Wine Lounge at the America's Cup Village. Rates start at $299 per night, excluding tax and based upon availability. It is valid July 4 – Sept. 21, 2013.

For more information, visit The Westin St. Francis website.
