RELAX - Before this project, the word "date" was paired with an eyeroll. They were so stressful, feeling more like job interviews than anything. When I relaxed and just went into dates with the attitude of just getting to know someone, I could let go of the heaviness that's so commonly associated with dating.
RESPECT yourself and your date
RECEIVE Before this project I often had my guard up. But with this experience, I did my best to get out of my own way and to let go a little. For instance, I offered set up and pay for the dates since it was my project, but a lot of guys really wanted to plan and pay. So I let them. After all, the core of this project is learning to develop relationships. If a guy really wanted to do something, I could work with that.
