Police Investigating Double Shooting Near Stockton DMV

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Police are investigating an apparent double shooting near a DMV office in Stockton on Lincoln Street.

The incident happened at around 5 a.m.

At around 6:30 a.m., there was a heavy police presence in the area. Officers could be seen searching near the canal for possible clues or a suspect.

One victim was taken to the hospital.

Witnesses say the incident started as a robbery.

Police tell CBS13 the shooting had nothing to do with the DMV office.
