Pancakes!

I was surprised this morning with Big Steve offering to get pancakes for me across the street at IHOP.  I was so excited!  I normally eat yogurt and that's about it until lunch time.  What made it special was Steve treated!  Despite all the teasing we do, he can be a softie!  Thanks Steve!  As you can see, he's enjoying his breakfast too!

On Sunday, I went to the Placer County Honey Festival in Granite Bay mainly for the pancake breakfast!  It was put on by the Boy Scouts & Cub Scouts.  That's my daughter Carina across from me and my niece Nicole in the sunglasses.  Love going to pancake breakfasts!  This one was outside!  I even bought a honey comb to try.  The honey people said it was okay to eat the wax... but I felt like I was eating one of those wax lips from Halloween.  The beekeeper said it takes the bees about 3 weeks to fill one of these boards!  Learned a lot about the bees too and the serious problem with them disappearing.  Tina
