Overnight Stockton Shooting Is City's 40th Homicide This Year
STOCKTON (CBS13) - A Stockton resident was shot and killed early Wednesday morning. Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
At around 3:30 a.m., police received a call that someone had been shot in the 700 block of E. Hammer Lane. When they arrived, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim as was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
This shooting is the city's 40th homicide of the year.
