News: Thieves Drive Truck Into Pizza Shop

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A Natomas business is cleaning up after thieves smashed a truck through the front doors overnight.

The driver backed the pickup into the front of the business multiple times to break a safe loose from bolts holding it to the floor under the front counter.

Surveillance video from Little Caesars on Natomas Boulevard shows three men then going into the store, pulling out the 400-pound safe and lifting it into the back of the truck.

A store spokesperson says they haven't have any disgruntled employees or recent firings.

The store plans to sell pizzas curbside on Friday.
