Mark At The Movies - (Web Only) "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises"

A Letter From Mark S. Allen:

"Mark At The Movies" devoted a special half hour broadcast to "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" that was to begin airing Friday, 7/20th, a day that in fact will go down as being the darkest moment in Cinema history; accordingly, we opted not to broadcast the special on our parent CBS/Warner Brothers station and also agreed to have it pulled from Reelz Channel Network, both for appropriate and obvious reasons.

I am deeply saddened by this event and have not ceased to think of the victims, families and friends of those most directly affected.  I was in Hollywood as this was happening and quickly saw the movie industry react with unprecedented cooperation and compassion on all fronts.

If you choose to view these segments, please know that for logistical reasons it was recorded before the incident and we offer them only as a courtesy to those who traveled and gave their time to participate in the special group format episode.

In the meantime, we at "Mark At The Movies" are waiting to find out how we can help the victims and families through fundraising and awareness...please stand by for details.

Life is precious, I have experienced pain, and death and sadness in my life as it's a part of living; movies have been and will always be my most reliable escape from it all.
