Injured K9 Officer Has Another Surgery To Repair Jaw
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Injured Sacramento K9 officer Bodie is doing well on his road to recovery after undergoing another surgery.
On Tuesday, Dr. Runyon of VCA animal hospital put a piece of stainless steel into Bodie's jaw. His jaw was shattered last month when he was shot by a suspect.

Dr. Runyon also used bone marrow taken from Bodie's right shoulder to help his injured jaw heal.

Bodie is now resting and is expected to recover in about 8 weeks.
