How to Wear White in the Winter

I'm sure that everyone has heard that silly little fashion rule, "no white after Labor Day." I'm not sure when this rule changed but I'm glad it did. Thinking about it, people tend to wear darker colors in the colder months and lighter colors in the warmer months. This is not a rule written anywhere (I don't think). People must subconsciously do this without realizing it. So when I started seeing some of my favorite fashion bloggers all wearing white clothing, I was a little surprised. In the back of my head I hear, "…but it's after Labor Day?" But I guess it's time to throw that idea out of the window.
