MODESTO (CBS13) - A 12-year-old girl had to be airlifted to a hospital after a car crash in Modesto today at West Roseburg and Del Vale avenues.

The girl was in a car hit by a driver who tried to take off on foot--but was arrested by police.

Police say speed and alcohol may be factors in the collision.
