FEMA Rescue Dog Training
Canine search teams (handler and canine) play a very critical role in helping to find survivors during catastrophes like structural collapse incidents. Canines can detect the live human scent even of those trapped deep in rubble. This morning, we are with FEMA Urban Search and rescue Task Force as they as they go through an extensive training with their canine partners.
