DECATUR (CBSDFW.COM) - Three people suffered non-life threatening, yet serious injuries this afternoon after a two vehicle crash on Farm Road 51 North at the U.S. 380 overpass.

The teenage driver of the car ran a stop sign at FR51 and was T-Boned by a pickup truck driven by a woman.

Decatur Police Chief Rex Hoskins said the 17-year-old driving the car, had two passengers – a woman and child. All three were flown to the hospital.

The driver of the pickup truck wasn't injured in the wreck.

Chief Hoskins said he doesn't know if the victims were wearing seatbelts. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.

By Friday evening traffic in the area was moving smoothly past the crash scene.
