Trending: Miley's VMA Moment, Cuban's Favorite Cookie, Back To School Photos

MILEY's VMA MOMENT

For the second year in a row, Miley Cyrus makes headlines at the MTV Video Music Awards and she did it without leaving her seat.

It was just last summer that we watched Miley twerk her way across the VMA stage.

This year, a more mature Miley turned over the stage and the spotlight to support a worthy cause.

When she won the award for video of the year, she sent Jesse, a young man who was recently homeless, to accept the award and share his experience.

At the end of his speech, Jesse sent fans to Miley's Facebook page to learn more about My Friend's Place, where she is collecting donations and raising awareness for homeless young people in Hollywood.

The post has racked up more than 350 thousand likes and donations are pouring in by the minute.

CUBAN'S FAVORITE COOKIE

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is apparently on a cookie diet. He's found a new snack and a new business venture all in one, which is apparently doing too well after his ringing endorsement.

During a Monday morning radio interview on the Dan Patrick show, Cuban was asked to name the favorite product he's invested in.

He said, "It's a new company called Alyssa's Cookies. It's under "Alyssa's Bakery" online and I live off of these cookies. These things are high-fiber, taste amazing, low-carb and literally that is all I will eat anymore."

Within seconds of the interview, the company website crashed because of too much traffic.

It continued having problems throughout the day.
