The Fan On TXA 21's Best Sports Movies

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Wednesday night TXA 21's Gina Miller & 105.3 The Fan's Chris Arnold discussed their Top 3 favorite sports movies.

Gina & Chris had an interesting discussion:

Chris' top 3, in order, included Caddyshack, adding "It's a great, funny movie," Rocky, "It's all about winning," and Field of Dreams, admitting "I almost shed a tear."

He gave honorable mentions to Jerry Maguire and When We Were Kings.

Gina took a different cinematic turn.  She's a fan of Hoosiers, saying "It's the hard-working mentality of the team, and it's about overcoming adversity."

Bull Durham came in at #2 - "It captures the greatness of minor league baseball."

And filed away in the stupid but funny category, Talladega Nights because of the wonderful personalities of NASCAR that make an appearance to poke fun at themselves.

Gina remembers her Texas roots by giving Friday Night Lights the honorable mention.
