Suspect Drags Officer Through Parking Lot

GRAND PRAIRIE (AP) - Police have arrested a Dallas-area woman who they say stole from a Kohl's department store and dragged an officer with her car while trying to flee.
The Grand Prairie Police Department said that the injuries to the officer on Sunday night were minor.
Police say the officer tried to stop the woman from driving away from the store and was dragged a short distance through the parking lot. The officer's identity hasn't been released.
The woman has been charged with aggravated assault against a police officer and enhanced theft. Her identity hasn't been released.
Police didn't say what the woman is charged with taking.
