Schools Cancel Some Activities Due To Severe Weather

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Several school districts in the area are changing their plans and cancelling some events and activities based on the severe weather threat today. Here is a list of reports we have received so far.
Bishop Lynch HS
Tonight's CHEER TRYOUTS have been rescheduled for Monday, May 2nd beginning at 5 pm. @blathletics
Carroll Dragons
Dragon Baseball postponed tonight
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD: Athletics
Smith's softball playoff game #2 has been postponed until tomorrow (April 30) at 10 a.m. at North Forney High School.
Cedar Hill ISD
Due to weather concerns, tonight's Special Olympics Spring Games Area 10 events are cancelled & postponed to Saturday at Cedar Hill High.
Wylie ISD
GAME UPDATE: The Wylie-Wylie East Baseball game scheduled for tonight has been moved to tomorrow. There are two potential game time/locations: If the WHS field is playable, the game will be Saturday at 7:00 or 7:30 at WHS. If it is not, the game will be played at Prestonwood Christian Academy (turf field) 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093, at 3:30. A decision will be made by noon Saturday. Either way, the game will be broadcast live via the Internet at: kkvidfw.com
