Quality Educator Positions In Dallas Are In Demand

No matter what stage you are in life, a teacher, instructor, or professor has taught you. From elementary through college and professional executive programs, the need for quality educators will always be there.

The Dallas/Ft. Worth area has experienced a tremendous population growth fueled by its strong economy that outpaces the growth of the nation. With more companies taking advantage of the areas temperate climate and tax incentives, more people are relocating to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

It is never too late to return to school and there are plenty of options when considering educational formats.

"Earning an advanced degree online was a fantastic way for me to earn my degree. There was a 17-year gap between my bachelors' and master's degree. It allowed me the freedom to continue to give my efforts to my position during the day, but allowed me to self pace myself throughout the duration of my program. Having the flexibility to be able to work, but still gain all the benefits of my masters program was invaluable to me as a working professional. I am not sure if I could have done it any other way," said Dave Wilson, Vice Principal at Celina High School. Wilson is responsible for developing, maintaining, evaluating, and implementing curricular and extracurricular programs to drive student achievement and growth in the e-learning environment needed to succeed in the future.

"I wanted to be part of organization strategy on how do you build leaders. If you cannot teach it then you haven't really learned it. The greatest value is when leaders can teach others," said Dr. Sushma Aggarwal, Vice President of Organizational Development and Chief Learning Officer at Parkland Health & Hospital System.

"Most people tell you to go with heart when deciding on a degree but, if you really want to get value out of your education, look to the future. Aspire to get a degree by investing the time in researching what careers are growing that you will be passionate about," said Aggarwal.
