In the shadow of AT&T Stadium in Arlington there is a bright spot of light called Potagers Other Stuff.  It is an eclectic mix of an old-fashioned general store and coffee shop where you can slow down and connect with the community.

"A Potager is a kitchen garden in France, it's what you call your vegetable garden" said Cynthia Chippendale, owner of Potagers Other Stuff.

The Potager Cafe was the original spot Cynthia opened seven years ago bringing farm fresh food to the table and allowing folks to pay what they wanted.

"I didn't have any set menu, but I didn't have a set price as well so I had people pay me whatever they thought it was worth" Cynthia noted.

At Potagers Other Stuff you will find a Zen-like mix of coffee, snacks and unique gift items.  From handmade greeting cards to a guitar serenade, you will feel relaxed and at home at this little spot on Mesquite Street in Arlington.

"So there is a real connection with the community and their amazing people.  Everybody always thinks somewhere else is more interesting and that's not true, Arlington is pretty cool" Cynthia added.
