Police Respond To Possible Child Drowning

The location of the Mission Ranch Apartments where police were called to for a possible drowning involving a five year old boy Saturday.

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Police responded to a possible drowning call at an apartment complex in north Mesquite Saturday.

According to Sargent Brian Parish with the Mesquite Police Department officers were called to the Mission Ranch Apartments at about 1:10 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene officers found the five year old boy was unconscious.

The child was taken to the Dallas Regional Medical Center at Galloway.

After resuscitation attempts failed he was pronounced dead.
