Man, Woman, 2 Children Found Dead At Dallas Hotel

NORTH DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Detectives are investigating after a 41-year-old man, 31-year-old woman and two children were found dead at the Staybridge Suites Hotel off Knoll Trail, just south of Keller Springs in Dallas.

The city's 911 call center received a call about the shooting just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

"According to witnesses there were some sounds that sounded like gunshots, earlier in the day. But no one could confirm. They thought it was backfire, like from traffic," said Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall.

When the officers arrived, they found four individuals dead from gunshot wounds.

According to hotel management, workers went to the room where the occupant's time had expired. As management made entry into the room, they heard a gunshot coming from inside of the room. Hotel management fled and called police.

Police have not released the names of the victims, the ages of the children, how they were related or where they were from.

Chief Hall said the victims were in Dallas approximately one week.
