Officials: Mother Of "Affluenza" Teen On Missing Persons List

TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) — Tonya Couch, mother of North Texas "affluenza" teen Ethan Couch, is on the missing persons list, making her part of the investigation into her son's possible probation violation, according to the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office.
United States Marshals began circulating a 'wanted' poster for the teen on Friday, which explains his 2013 conviction of DUI vehicular manslaughter for killing four people while driving drunk in Tarrant County. Ethan Couch, who was 16 at the time, received a sentence of 10 years probation after his lawyer argued he didn't understand consequences due to his parents' wealth.
Tarrant County Sheriff Dee Anderson previously said officials searching for the teen believe he and his mother have not only skipped town, but possibly the country.
The county issued an arrest warrant for Ethan Couch on Dec. 11 after he missed an appointment with Tarrant County Juvenile Probation officers.
Ethan Couch emerged into the spotlight again earlier this month, when the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office began investigating a video that surfaced online allegedly showing the teen at a party with several people playing beer pong.
