North Texas School Bus Driver Comes Through During Tornado Warning

ALEDO, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A North Texas school bus full of kids…. A tornado warning… Thankfully there was one more key ingredient… A bus driver who knew what to do to keep his precious cargo safe.
"I felt the winds really strong," says bus driver Logan Tyler. "I could only see 20 or 30 feet in front of me."
"It started raining extremely hard, hailing," says 8th grader Max Davis. "The bus started shaking."
Tyler knew he had to pull over right then. There were 45 kids on the bus with him.
"My whole world was on that bus," says Davis' mother, Karen. "In a perfect world you;d be with them and you'd be in a basement when that happens and that's just not life."
Tyler Logan told the students to pack their things up against the window to prevent flying glass that could seriously injure them. He also had them huddle in the center of the bus and talked to them on his loudspeaker the whole time.
He promised the kids he'd get them to school in one piece and on time and he did!
