GREENVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities are looking for information on a hit-and-run crash in Hunt County that left one man dead. The incident happened along westbound Interstate-30 just before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Charles William Sleeman had exited his Toyota Tundra to check on a vehicle that he had been towing. That is when a white or light-colored truck of box trailer clipped the Farmersville resident. Sleeman died.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Sleeman did not stop at the scene. Investigators think that the driver was not aware that he or she had hit someone.
