Confessed Sexual Deviant Talks About His Crimes

DALLAS (CBS11) - "As she turned around and saw me, she was like crying and screaming..."

21-year-old Tyler Gale spoke candidly from inside the Dallas County Jail, just one day after his arrest on charges of child indecency and attempted kidnapping.

He described how he pursued teenage girls, exposed himself, and masturbated in front of them.

"There was adrenaline and excitement going on," he said.

Gales says he started looking at pornography when he was 7 or 8 year old.

He eventually became addicted.

Earlier this year, he began approaching girls in person.

"Instead of looking at it through an internet screen, you know it's kinda like saying, here it is in real life," he said.

Gale described how he'd pick a school and wait for it to let out, targeting teens because they were easier to find.

He's accused of flashing nearly half a dozen girl and grabbing at least one in what he describes as an attempt to kiss her.

"I never had any intentions to have anyone get in my car or kidnap anybody," he said.

Gale says he only wanted to get a reaction.

He admits, though, with time, his behavior likely would have escalated.

"I need to get help and counseling," he said. "I don't want to end up actually raping or hurting someone."

Gale assumed he would eventually be caught.

He says, he's glad he finally was and apologized to the victims he traumatized.

"I never wanted to be that kind of person," he said.
