DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The neon green Bank of America tower isn't the only building flashing some major color in downtown Dallas.

The Chase building, on the east side of downtown with the hole in the middle at the top, is now accented in cool blue LED lighting.

The blue color isn't in celebration of the Cowboys or Mavericks, but for JPMorgan Chase. The 55-story Chase Tower sits at 2200 Ross.

Company officials said the new lighting is their way to, "plant the Chase flag in Dallas".

In a press release, Dallas Chase Chairman Elaine Agather pointed out that the company employs more than 13,000 in the area and is contributing to two major downtown projects – the Woodall Rogers Deck Park and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

Installation of the blue lighting, which will illuminate both the north and south sides of the building, will be completed Wednesday evening.

Chase Tower joins several other illuminated Dallas skyline buildings, including Reunion Tower, Hunt Oil Tower, Bank of America Plaza and the Magnolia Hotel.
