Celente Recalls Conversation With Former Texas Gov. Connally

On Oct 25, 1992, eight months before he died, former Texas Governor John Connally requested lunch with an author named Gerald Celente.

Celente, who has been forecasting trends worldwide since the 1980's, wrote a 1989 book "TrendTracking" which predicted Ross Perot's attempt to mount a third party bid for president.

Celente talked to KRLD's Scott West about his encounter with Connally 31 years ago, in which Connally described his first-hand account of the JFK assassination:
