Candlelight Vigil Planned At Site Of Argyle Deadly Building Collapse

ARGYLE (CBSDFW.COM) - An impromptu memorial for a worker who died when an athletics building fell yesterday in Argyle continues to grow, as family members and friends prepare to remember him one day after his death.
CBS 11 has confirmed the man who died in Thursday's accident is 36-year-old Julio Ledesma. He was an employee of Warnick Metal Building Erectors, a subcontractor for the project. A candlelight vigil is planned at the construction site Friday night.
Also, concessions for the evening's baseball games, which will be played next to the site, will be donated to the Ledesma's family.
"We're going to take up a donation tonight from our fans and any others that come and say, 'Hey, we've had a tragedy, we're trying to reach out and support," said Klip Weaver, past president of the athletics booster club. "This is just a really visible thing that people can look at and see and say, 'You know what? I need to help. I need to give back."
Investigators and contractors spent all day at the site looking for clues as to what may have caused the collapse. The probe into what happened has been joined by Nelson Forensics of Plano, the same firm that severed as consultants when structural deficiencies were found at the new Allen Football Stadium.
The firm is not part of OSHA's federal investigation. The company, OSHA and the general contractor have all declined to comment on the investigation.
The identity of Warnick's three injured workers has not yet been made public.
