ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - We are exactly three months away from the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be held right here in North Texas at AT&T Stadium and broadcast live on CBS 11.

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are hosting the event and visited Arlington to shoot promos ahead of the big night.  But when asked which North Texas city he prefers, Blake Shelton wasn't shy.

"Oh man, I'm more of a Grapevine. I'm more of a Grapevine kind of guy because that's where I believe Bass Pro Shop is," he said.

Both country music superstars talked about how they plan on engaging the audience, when the awards are broadcast live from the stadium in April.

"Blake and I have always enjoyed just taking our friendship and releasing it to the people at home," said Bryan.  "Our friendship is for sale," Shelton chimed in.  "You can pay for us to come around sit around and be your friend. We'll come to your house. Your barbecues. Fairs. Sit around and do this and be friends....What do you think? Two. Two beers. We'll be there," he joked.

Never before has the show been broadcast from a stadium the size of AT&T Stadium and virtually every country music star will be in Arlington for the 50th anniversary of the show.

"In order to fill a room this big, you got to use something big and so we're bringing in my ego. Yes. Luke's ego...Along with some of these other country music superstars. It takes a lot of ego to fill this room," said Shelton.

More fan tickets will be released as we get closer to the event.  To find out when those tickets go on sale, you need to sign up here Also, for the latest information on the show, be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter!  As the broadcast home of the show, we will be posting exclusive updates there as well.
