There are Salvation Army thrift stores, and then there's the giant Dallas store near the sprawling UT Southwestern campus. Bargain hunters of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds love this large facility for its vast selection of furniture, clothing, accessories, toys, children's clothing, household goods, electronics, books and music. The parking lot is small, which can make Wednesdays' Customer Appreciation Day (1/2-off all clothing) a little busier than usual, but it's worth the trip, especially if you're in the area.

Open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
