7 Hurt In DART Bus Accident Released From Hospitals

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM/AP) - Seven people who were hurt in a traffic accident involving a Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus and four other vehicles during freezing weather have been released from area hospitals.

DART officials say the accident happened Monday morning during rush hour on Interstate-35E when a minivan cut in front of the bus near a bridge. Officials say the van hit a barrier wall and ended up along the front side of the bus.

DART spokesman Mark Ball says four people on the bus and three from the van, one a child, were injured. All were transported to hospitals.

Ball says all seven individuals were released just before noon on Monday.
